1. About this website

This website is operated by Jacob Roberts, a sole trader with ABN 18 813 409 919, trading as Bots & Pieces. Contact us at Jacob.Roberts@botsandpieces.com.au or 0416 591 313.

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. The information here is general

Everything on this website is general information about what we do. It is not advice about your systems, your data, your contracts or your legal obligations, and it does not take your circumstances into account. Get advice for your own situation before acting on anything you read here.

3. We do not promise a particular result

Examples, case descriptions, screenshots, figures and service descriptions show what we have done or what we can do. They are not a promise of a particular saving, a revenue result, a security outcome, a level of AI accuracy, or a delivery time for your project.

Any portfolio material on this site is shown with client identities and client data removed or replaced. Sample records shown in screenshots are fictional.

4. Enquiries do not create an agreement

Sending an enquiry through this website, emailing us or calling us does not create a service agreement and does not commit us to do any work. Work starts only under an accepted quote or a signed statement of work, together with our Master Services Agreement and any deposit stated in it.

Any indicative price shown on this site may change and is not a quote.

5. Acceptable use

You may read this site, print pages for your own reference and link to it normally. You must not:

  • Use the site or the enquiry form to send unlawful, misleading, abusive or threatening material.
  • Send bulk, automated or repeated enquiries.
  • Try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting or any connected system.
  • Introduce malicious code, or interfere with the site’s availability or security.
  • Scrape, harvest or systematically copy the site’s content for a commercial purpose.
  • Present the site’s content as your own, or use it to train a model without our written permission.

We may block access to anybody who does any of these things.

6. Intellectual property

Unless we say otherwise, the content of this site, including text, layout, graphics, the Bots & Pieces name, the logo and the tagline, is owned by or licensed to Bots & Pieces. You may not republish, sell or commercially reuse it without our written permission. Normal linking and personal reference are fine.

7. Links to other sites

Where we link to somebody else’s website, we do so for convenience. We do not control that site’s content, availability, security or terms, and a link is not an endorsement.

8. Availability

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, why, who we share it with and how to access, correct or delete it. It forms part of these terms. Our Collection Notice is the short version shown at the point we collect your details.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 10, Bots & Pieces is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from relying on its general content without getting advice for your own situation. This includes loss of profit, loss of data, loss of opportunity and any indirect or consequential loss.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

Where we do paid work for you, that work is governed by our Master Services Agreement and the statement of work, not by these website terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version and its effective date are always published here, and the version in force is the one published when you used the site.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and you submit to the courts of that state.
