About a week
I learn how the work really happens, then give you one fixed quote in writing before anything is built.

2 to 6 weeks
I build it and you try it on real work. Anything that does not behave gets fixed before it goes near your customers or your money. Then it goes through a five-area check before go-live.

About a week
It is documented and handed over in your name. If you want me to keep looking after it, there are three plans below.
Who owns it at the end?You can stop here
Whether it is a website, an app or an automation, it works the same two ways. Open either one for the detail. You can also look at the ready-made business tools.
The finished thing, connected to the programs you already use: your accounting program, your customer list, your spreadsheets, your email. I write down how it works in plain words and hand it over to you.
You get one fixed quote before any work starts. What changes the price:
For a job your team does by hand today, I also work out what it costs you now, so you can see whether the build pays for itself. If it does not, I tell you plainly rather than build it anyway.
Say a job takes one person two hours a week. That is about a hundred hours a year, every year, for that one job. Put your own hourly cost against a hundred hours and you have what it is costing you today.
The quote is set against that number. If the job mostly goes away and the build costs less than it was costing you, it pays for itself and keeps going. If it does not, I tell you, and you have spent nothing but half an hour.
Two hours a week is an illustration, not your number. Yours gets worked out with you, from your real hours and rates, before anything is agreed. You can also put your own figures through the cost calculator first.
Support plans are optional. You can have a website, app or automation built without taking a plan. Choose ongoing support only if you want me to keep looking after it. The first month of your chosen plan is included in the build. No lock-in, and you can cancel at the end of any month. No GST is charged.

Each month I go through your website, app or automation and send you a list of up to 10 ideas to make it better. Each idea comes with a fixed price. You choose which ones, if any, get done, and nothing changes without your yes. It is $50 a month on Watch or Care, and it is included in Partner.
An example of one month's list
Made-up example, not a real client.
First response, Monday to Friday. Critical: same business day on Watch and Care, and within 2 business hours on Partner, when the system is unavailable or nobody can do the work it supports. High: two business days, when a material function is wrong but a workaround exists. Normal: five business days, for a question, a minor fault, or a change request.
Extra work outside a plan, or work with no plan, is quoted to fit before it starts. Contact for pricing.
Good to know
In month one, faults are fixed, your team can ask questions, and small tweaks are included. New features are quoted separately.
| Priority | First response |
|---|---|
| Critical | Same business day on Watch and Care. Within 2 business hours on Partner. |
| Critical, with no plan | Best effort, within 5 business days |
| High | Two business days |
| Normal | Five business days |
| First reply to an enquiry | Within 1 business day (Monday to Friday) |
Critical means the system is unavailable, or nobody can do the work it supports. High means a material function is wrong but a workaround exists. Normal means a question, a minor fault, or a change request. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This is when I first respond, not when the fault is finished. Not overnight, and not on weekends.
Not sure which one you need? That is the normal place to start. Tell me what is slow and I will say which of the two it is, or whether it is neither.
