Is your website
losing you work?

A free check of what customers, Google and strangers can see on your site. Plain English, and it never changes anything.

Want me to fix what it finds? See what access I need and how I keep it safe.

Use an email at your website's own address and you will see every detail, including anything serious.

Free. Read-only. It takes two to three minutes, with a countdown while it runs.

What this check does, and does not do

Looks, never touches

It loads your public pages the way any visitor's browser does. It never logs in, fills in forms, guesses passwords or tries to break in.

Keeps very little

Results are not stored on this website, unless you order the full report: it is kept for 2 days while you pay, then 30 days once paid so the links in your email work, and deleted after. If you ask for the email, your address and the results go to Bots & Pieces as an enquiry. A key found in your code is never stored or sent in full.

Honest about limits

This is a quick outside check, not a security audit or a penetration test. A good score cannot promise your site cannot be hacked.

Rules for using this check
  1. Only check a website you own, or one whose owner has given you permission to check it. By ticking the box you confirm this.
  2. The check is free, automated and passive. It reads only pages and files the website makes public to every visitor. It does not log in, fill in forms, guess passwords or hidden addresses, try any key it finds, or change anything.
  3. It is not a penetration test, a security audit or a guarantee. A good score means no problems were found in the checks listed on this page. It does not mean a website is secure.
  4. The details of a possible secret key are shown only to someone using an email address at the website's own address, and to Bots & Pieces.
  5. Results are not stored on this website and are never published. If you order the full report, it is kept for 2 days while you pay (deleted after if you do not), then for 30 days once paid so the links in your email keep working, then deleted. Card payments are handled by Stripe; card details never reach this website.
  6. If you tick the email box, you get one email with your results and what Bots & Pieces would do to fix each problem, with an unsubscribe link. Your address and results go to Bots & Pieces as an enquiry and are handled under the Collection Notice and Privacy Policy. They are never sold or shared.
  7. Bots & Pieces may limit or refuse checks to prevent misuse.
  8. Results are general information, not advice for your situation. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If paid work is wrong or incomplete, tell us within 30 days and we will fix it or refund you.
  9. Vulnerability data comes from OSV.dev and the GitHub Advisory Database (CC-BY 4.0). Speed, layout and accessibility results come from Google PageSpeed Insights. Screenshots are taken with Cloudflare Browser Run. Email and domain details come from public DNS and the domain registry.
